DESCRIPTION: The AQUATABS® RV / Marine Kit is the only system on the market that includes an easy to use purification tablet AND a test strip to let users know that its working! Each kit includes 20 x 167 mg AQUATABS water purification tablets and 20 x SenSafe™ Free Chlorine test strips. Test strips are individually sealed and will measure Free Chlorine from 0.0 to 6.0 mg/L. Compact, easy to use with quick results. Kit allows users to easily monitor and maintain residual chlorine levels within on board water systems and holding tanks.
1. Maintain Residual Chlorine Protection. Water from campgrounds and marinas are for the most part safe but the protection offered by residual chlorine quickly dissipates during travel and storage. This leaves the water open to recontamination and allows biofilm, algae, coliforms, etc. to take hold and quickly multiply. Safe, fresh water can within days become unfit for human use and consumption. AQUATABS® allow users to easily refresh chlorine levels in onboard water systems through the addition of water purification tablets that create a measured dose of hypochlorous acid (free chlorine). AQUATABS® are safe to handle and require no pre-mixing. Simply insert 1 tablet per 60 L tank, wait 30 minutes and test using the strips provided. If more chlorine is required, simply repeat the process using additional tablets until residual chlorine levels reach 0.5-1 mg/L, the same levels found in most municipal water sources. Retest daily to protect your health!
